All of a company's work, in one application

Built for companies that buy and sell fruit and vegetables: from growers' produce to the VAT settlement.

  • Master data

    Customers with delivery addresses and letters of intent, suppliers, growers and carriers. VAT numbers are checked on VIES.

  • Items and packaging

    Items with variety, size grade, origin and quality mark. Packaging and pallets with tare weights; crates tracked with delivery and return notes.

  • Documents

    Delivery notes, immediate and deferred invoices, credit notes, orders and CMR. Delivery notes are invoiced in batches.

  • Grower produce

    Receive produce by lot and settle growers on consignment, with self-billed invoices or with invoices. Check the preview before confirming.

  • Electronic invoicing

    Send to the Italian Exchange System (SDI) and receive the outcomes. Supplier invoices arrive by themselves and become a document or a journal entry. With Agyo or Youdox.

  • Warehouse

    Stock movements, stock levels on any past date, opening inventory and warehouse closing with valuation.

  • Accounting

    Journal entries with attachments, VAT registers, VAT settlement with split payment and reverse charge, due dates, statements, trial balance and cost centers.

  • Banks

    Payment lists become a SEPA file ready for the bank. Plus invoice advances and cheques.

  • Print and Excel

    Preview and PDF of every report, with layouts adapted to the company. Long reports arrive when they are ready, and every list exports to Excel.

Getting started

You start with your company ready to go

You don't have to configure anything yourself: we do the initial setup.

  1. We set up your company

    We create it for you, ready to use: chart of accounts, transaction types, VAT rates, registers, document types and warehouses.

  2. Bring your data

    Customers, suppliers, items and packaging are imported from CSV or DBF files. If you already use Sedna, we move your data for you.

  3. Invite your colleagues

    Each with their own sign-in, with the roles and permissions you decide.

  4. Get to work

    The home page tells you what is still missing: company details, bank, electronic invoicing.

Email

Emails are sent from the company's own mailbox

Invoices and documents are emailed from the company's own address, even in batches from the document list: the customer sees the company as the sender. The administrator connects the mailbox once: SMTP or certified email (PEC), and soon Gmail and Google Workspace with the "Connect Google" button.

The mailbox can be disconnected at any time, from SednaCloud or from the Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. How we handle this data is explained in our privacy policy.

Your data

Your company's data, under control

    The application and the database run on Microsoft Azure, in data centers in Italy.

  • Encrypted connection

    Every page travels over https, from sign-in to reports.

  • Roles and permissions

    Each user sees and changes only what they need. Invitations are sent by email.

The subscription

  • Yearly or monthly. Try it first, then choose.
  • Card or bank transfer. With a card, renewal can be automatic.
  • No surprises. We email you before it expires.
  • No days lost. If you renew early, the new period starts at the expiry date.

Who we are

Software for fresh produce, from people who know it

SednaCloud is developed and operated by Codisense S.r.l.s., a software company in Santa Croce Camerina, in the province of Ragusa, Italy, that builds business software for the fresh produce trade.

Codisense also develops Sedna, the fresh produce management software that companies install on their own computers. SednaCloud builds on that experience, to work from the browser.
